I'm gonna make this clear as an "Intro post": Trans rights are human rights. Full stop. I don't tolerate racists, anti-vaxxers, MAGAs, or most right wingers in general.
I am once again advocating for the corporate death penalty

"Unpopular opinion on an issue most people don't really care about one way or another" is a loss leader to strengthen the electorate's trust that you believe in anything at all.

I was a freshman in high school when the ACA was being debated, and the moment i learned that "pregnancy" was a pre-existing condition, i believed the US healthcare system was a joke. I was a full-on libertarian until about 23, and even then, i believed healthcare should be a right.
This is the argument for "pre-existing conditions." Like being a woman.
Markwayne Mullin on healthcare: "What the president would like to do is say, hey, if you take care of yourself -- you don't smoke, you don't dip, you're not drinking, you're not overweight, you're working out -- then you should pay less than the guy that obviously is not taking care of himself."

And this is why we should build more trains
Consumers want cheap. They get cheap. You wanna fly to Orlando every year, then you're gonna have to scrunch up your legs and eat the dry pretzels.
Ok, so airlines have no care other than profit. Take a bus? Got it. The Greenspan way to travel.

Juries are not perfect.

Many of the worst miscarriages of justice have followed jury trials.

But the merit of juries is not so much the power they have, but the power they prevent others from having.

They mean a judge cannot just nod-along with prosecution evidence and give a guilty verdict.

Caesar had his Brutus — Charles the First, His Cromwell — And Donald Trump (The original speech is directed at George the Third, not Trump) may profit by their example. If this be treason, make the most of it.

Paraphrased from Patrick Henry
Salazar: "In Congress we've understood that China, we need to bring those jobs back. Maybe to the United States, but maybe near-shoring or rear-shoring. Maybe it's time to bring those jobs to Venezuela and to Chile and to Bolivia and to Central and South America. They happen to be in our back yard."

When the rich plunder the poor of his rights, it becomes an example for the poor to plunder the rich of his property, for the rights of the one are as much property to him as wealth is property to the other
