The first time terrorists used planes to attack Americans wasn’t on 9/11 or at Pearl Harbor. It was the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 when white supremacists flew a dozen planes to drop turpentine or nitroglycerin bombs on Black Americans.

Viola Fletcher was there.

Mother Fletcher's legacy will live on as the epitome of honor, courage, strength, and resilience in the face of violent terrorism, white supremacy, and cowardice

Saw my Nurse Practitioner last week. I always mask in the clinic. She (not masked) asked if I was ill...same conversation with her a month ago. She didn't recall my ounce of precaution.
Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.

In Run Like a Girl I talk in detail about the attacks, harassment and threats I faced online and offline not because I need sympathy but because we need change. No woman in politics or media should have to endure targeted abuse just for doing her job and speaking up.

Leadership requires focus, judgment, and the ability to discuss serious issues without resorting to insults. This wasn’t the first time Trump displayed this kind of pettiness, and the first time should have been enough to disqualify him from ever holding the presidency.
Trump on Pritzker: “I would never want to talk about his weight. I don't talk about people being fat. I refuse to talk about the fact that he's a fat slob. I don't mention it.”

The Oklahoma swing from +27 to negative 7 is absolutely massive. That's a 34 point drop in Trump country.

That being said, they would vote for anyone over any democrat. Republicans often lose support when it doesn't matter. Make no mistake, their voters will show up on election day & vote red.

"good people of both parties on Capitol Hill should be doing a lot more to invoke the War Powers Act, hold hearings, debate impeachment, and do whatever else they can to prevent Trump’s reckless acts in the Caribbean and elsewhere. In other words, stop illegal orders before they’re given."
In 1968, a soldier named Hugh Thompson defied orders to save Vietnamese lives during the My Lai massacre. Eventually seen as a hero, in real time he was vilified and nearly court-martialed
