My nearest Picturehouse is show Cléo From 5 to 7 in February, so of course I’ve had to book a ticket 😍

They’re also doing a run of other French New Wave films because of the release of Nouvelle Vague, so I may be tempted to go a few times 😬

And this is why #physicalmedia will always be superior. £34 w/out discount for the discs, special features and booklet, while it would be £50 total to ‘buy’ them all on iTunes, or £6.99 a month for BFI Player (both with no features/booklet). 5 months subscription equates to owning them forever!

Lasted a week, but I’ve finally been able to remove Facebook/Instagram and the dreaded LinkedIn from my life 😂

Committed to not be endlessly scrolling on here though!
Don’t want to sound dramatic, but putting a hiatus on this account. Will be deleting all my other social media’s, but keeping this one activated just in case I have a little ‘relapse’ 😂

Got contacted by an old relative, and it made me realise I HATE being easily available to anyone, so TTFN!

Edward Yang’s masterpiece YI YI (2000) returns to the PCC, its London home from this Monday 19th January through March - screening in a 4K restoration.

A tender, sprawling portrait of family life in Taipei, YI YI balances everyday joys and sorrows with a rare, poetic grace.

The first season was so much better than both movies combined, thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to this!

I’m so confused by the choice of music for the menu screen of @studiocanal.com digipack edition of Mulholland Drive?! Appears nowhere in the film? Am I missing weird Lynchian lore I’ve never heard about?

Still waiting for this to be released, but after seeing that I still have 280 films in my collection that I haven’t watched, I’ve decided to try and not make any needless purchases of films this year until I’ve watched a decent chunk of those unseen. Unless of course something special comes along!
