But has she joined @yourparty.bsky.social? Or is she still clinging to the coat tails of the Labour Party she’s attacking?

At Jeremy Corbyn talk in Oxford. Just listened to Oxford based surgeon desribe the horrors of Gaza. Of how he operated on babies & toddlers shot in the head. Teenage boys purposely shot in the balls. All by the IDF.
Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.

Let’s hope a class action for social murder is taken out against Johnson & others. It’s a concept used to describe an unnatural death that is believed to occur due to social, political, or economic oppression, instead of direct violence.

was asked to write a short piece for South African activists about the rise of the far right in Europe-I tried to relate it to some of the challenges activists face in South Africa: zabalaza4socialism.org.za/2025/08/28/c...

Am no friend of Putin. Honest.
Nigel Farage now says that any suggestion he's been soft on Putin is "just nonsense".

Here's a quick reminder of what he's said in the past

The mainstreaming of National Front 1970s policies and language is sickening. That’s why we need YP so it can offer a national alternative to the bile thsts coming from all the other main parties and media.

Decade? It won’t take that long at this rate.

Who ate all the pies?

Have any Trusts put out reassuring statements for staff? I wrote to our CEO suggesting they did and silence can be seen as support. They referred me to BHM in October, but still no statement.

Booked. Circulating.
Nigel Farage claims his mass deportation plan would save the UK hundreds of billions of pounds over the coming decades.

New analysis of official statistics, forecasts and Reform's own figures suggests it would actually *cost* the UK hundreds of billions over the same period
Farage’s Trillion Pound Black Hole: The Real Cost of Reform UK’s Mass Deportation Plan
Exclusive: Reform's plan, which it claims would net huge savings over the coming decades, would actually cost the UK about £70-90bn over the next ten years alone, new analysis of official statistics a...

Working with Stand up to Racism - the good, the bad, the deeply annoying

Radio 4 yesterday was awful taking to Zia. It’s not a technical debate about how easy Reform can imprison asylum seekers, of course they can imprison people if they are in government. It’s a political debate about racism, their racist , dogwhistle rhetoric, scapegoating, treating people as humans.

Are you saying we sit on our hands and do nothing about anything and let it implode?

I hope you’ve changed your mind.

This is outrageous the slow authoritarian slide over Palestine is very real. It’s a shame there isn’t the will for a few thousand fans to turn up in Palestine tops at a game.
The immigration debate is going badly off track, thanks to a combination of opportunism, racism and spinelessness in the UK's political and media class.

But it's not too late to turn things round.
