Just watched Fiona Bruce on BBC News list what the Home Secretary announced in her speech.

What was missing was the Home Secretary’s announcement on free and legal routes.

Why is that?

Interesting Q. I'll need to think about that one.

Thank you, but be careful what you wish for!

London Mayor Sadiq Khan on why the Far Right lie about London crime: “They don’t want our modern, multicultural, progressive metropolis to succeed because they can’t stomach the truth. London is a place where people of every creed, colour and culture live together in peace and mutual respect.”

Here’s what you won’t hear from some commentators on social media: in the year to October, London recorded 10,000 fewer violent crimes leading to injury than it did in the twelve months before I was elected.

This week Nathan Gill, Reform UK’s Leader in Wales will be sentenced for 8 charges of Russian bribes.

Here’s Farage calling him an “honest, decent and honourable man”.

Let’s not forget that whilst he was taking the bribes, Farage was making similar pro-Russian speeches in the European Parliament.

Some nice double-think on here today...

'It's BECAUSE I'm so worried about Reform that I am so hard on Starmer...'

Yeah, right. Candidates for the 'the Nazis were totally the fault of the Weimar Republic' award

How about 'improving the lives of people'? Not doing at all badly on that score, tho' could & should do more.
Why all the talk about leadership challenges misses the point that the biggest problem facing this Government is not just a lack of leadership but a lack of clear ideas about what a Labour Government is actually for

Until that changes, the question of who sits in No 10 will remain a hollow one.

If you say this is from an independently verified source then I believe you.

But surely you should make that clear in the article?

Because in time when so many journalists are clearly politicised then the public need to be able to trust journalists and their sources

So seems Labour’s budget plans have changed because the OBR forecasts have improved e.g. the U.K. economy has improved.

This is positive news.

Too many rushed out negative hot takes this morning.

I agree
I'm supportive of this govt because I'm a Labour member who believes in its aims & acknowledges its achievements, as well as its mistakes. I don't change my loyalties easily.
Plus it's the best option out there.

New today: Labour have cut waiting lists by 16,000 this month – meaning faster care and less worry for patients.

The past year is the first time in 15 years that waiting lists have fallen.

There's a way to go, but Labour are getting our NHS on the road to recovery.

Rachel Reeves said Brexit is hurting our economy
She also says we need economic growth and more tax revenue to fund public services.

Anyone else able to join the dots and find a solution? 🤔 At least let’s join the CU and SM! It won’t be easy but they’re already pissing everyone off so - go for it!

The good thing about u-turning on tax rises before you ever do them is you get most of the popularity for considering the hike, some bonus popularity for looking incompetent and indecisive, AND none of the revenue

There has now been 9 episodes of #BBCQT since it returned from its summer break

A Reform representative/mouthpiece has appeared on 5 of them:

Kruger - Nov 13
Goodwin - Oct 30
Dorries - Oct 23
Yusuf - Oct 9
Tice - Sept 25

But please tell me more about the BBC’s left wing bias

What other positives would you add to this list of Labour achievements?

The government must remove Robbie Gibb from the BBC board immediately – and end the practice of political appointments, which so badly undermines the BBC, altogether.
