I agree with your points, still I consider myself a patriot. I grew to love this country for what it can bring the world. I could have been born anywhere else, and I may or may not have grown to love that country similarly.

I don't trust the next Elon Musk with my data, and I don't trust them with yours.

In this digital age where AI and deepfakes are everywhere online, and where data is regularly hacked and exploited, can we afford to keep it all in one place?

A good post but I noted that Mr Thomas is the recently elected Lib Dem MP for Tewkesbury.

And God damn I feel so much of the media doesn't talk about how crazy that is
He's the first non conservative MP for Tewkesbury since 1880.
And one of the two Cotswold seats is Lib Dem too?

I have to say, the water was lovely. If only that was the norm.
