she/her/hers. Always cold, frequently hangry, seldom clever, never fun. Opinions half-baked and own. Trying in every sense.

An appropriate reaction to the federal government attacking a WHOLE STATE -- murdering, disappearing, brutalizing, kidnapping our neighbors isn't to just haggle over the funding for one agency. It's to stop all business as usual until this ends.

So much love, Chi-Town. 🥹💙 Thank you, friends. Thank you.
The march is now passing the Chicago city hall / Cook County hall building. The chant goes up,

"Minnesota don't you fear, we, the people, are right here"

Sending a lot of love to everyone who is working to protect, sustain, and uplift our neighbors in Minnesota. I see a lot of tenderness and gentleness between people, outpourings of generosity and compassion, and boldness in demanding better for our most vulnerable.

We’ll keep it up, friends. 💛

Today is a good day to take care of our community harmed by ICE. Ways to help:

Fellow Minnesotans, keep heart. Protect one another. Do good. 💛

The reason why MN is at the top of most quality of life & affordability metrics is because of Tim Walz & Mark Dayton. Dayton rescued our state from Pawlenty's trickle down bs & built the foundation for Walz's success. I can't think of a more successful, progressive governor than Walz in my lifetime.
Here’s what Tim Walz has done as governor of Minnesota • Minnesota Reformer
Democrats have swiftly fallen for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s Midwest dad persona, sharing videos of him working on a car, going on a rollercoaster with daughter Hope at the State Fair, signing a bill r...

If the House Republicans had any guts, they'd hold an emergency impeachment vote on Trump today.
If the Senate Republicans had any guts, they'd convict Trump of violating the Constitution tomorrow.
The Constitution means nothing it if it can be ignored with impunity.

Can't help but feel like this is one of the reasons why the Constitution says If a dude in office does an insurrection, don't let that motherfucker hold office again

Bc clearly they cannot be trusted with power & control over the levers of government, & they do not care about democratic constraints

Woke up to learn my country has gone completely lawless on the international stage. Am sick. Every member of this administration, its enablers, its supporters deserve to be brought before the Hague.

In 2026 I want all of the decent people to remember one thing.

You aren’t meant to be this disciplined, this self-sacrificing to survive. The environment is supposed to support good living. We can have that. You are not a failure. That is politics.

That is all.

Had a moment of overwhelm. Laid down. Shut eyes. Took a singular deep breath.

This is what I saw upon opening my eyes again.

As a reward for almost surviving 2025, please accept this picture of Zelda taken twelve years ago.

You’re welcome, besties. Here’s to better, kinder, and gentler for us all in 2026. 💙

Trump just brazenly lied about healthcare. This corporate tool has done everything for the benefit of insurance executives and nothing for the wellbeing of Americans who need health care.

Now, he's blaming his political opponents of the premium spikes his policies are causing.

Holiday grief is catching up with me, but my sweet bestie is making sure I don’t spend a single second at home feeling alone. (Her soft whiffly purr is a lovely comfort.) Wishing peace and gentleness to everyone carrying the heavy burdens, seen and unseen. 💛

If you are privileged enough to join a union, please participate. Attend meetings and trainings. Offer input. Join the negotiation team. Run for office. Lead together.

Yes, it is extra effort and it’s not always convenient, but unions only function when the people in them show up and work!
Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.
