Years ago I bought some biscuits that translated "may contain nuts" as "peut contenir des noix". Another potentially lethal translation error. I wrote to the company to point this out. They never replied.

seen elsewhere on social media this week. I wonder if the lethal English error is the result of unchecked spicy autocomplete. I can't see how the mistake would arise otherwise.
