@lynnnothegger.bsky.social I just finished reading the English translation of Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo. Made me think of you, bc of some translation bloopers. Like when she's writing about meeting RAF terrorists in jail, it says that's the Royal Air Force (should of course be Red Army Faction!)

Couple of years ago I had a PhD proposal about AI translating knitting patterns and trying to get the student's Ravelry community to knit the results. It didn't happen in the end but I imagine it would have looked like this.
