Juries are not perfect.
Many of the worst miscarriages of justice have followed jury trials.
But the merit of juries is not so much the power they have, but the power they prevent others from having.

This is truly scary. This is not the way to handle the continued defunding of the criminal justice system, this between this and the overtures about the EHRC, Labour's assault on the legal right of British people is truly horrific.

Terrible. It was like watching Moyes's United when he was manager, slinging cross after cross into the box with no effect. Slow, deliberate, kept giving the ball away, too many players far from their best and a couple who spend most of their time on the bench for a reason. Pathetic night #MUFC
Bloody atrocious in that first half. Playing 10 men and losing. Zirkzee and Dorgu playing like they won a contest in the TV Times to play at Soccer Aid. Bruno should stop giving the ball away, too. #MUFC
Time to sit back, relax and have another peaceful evening watching Manchester United play
