The fact that Trump has enabled people to feel not only supported, but also encouraged in their hatred is very ugly.
Chasten and I are relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe. While we wait to learn more, this much is clear: the targeting of a public official and his family - especially a prominent Jewish official on a major Jewish holiday - is unconscionable and has no place in our country.

They do not realize the rage that will be generated against their machine.
This message hits hard—and it’s right on target. Every House seat is up in 2026, and if they come for one penny of Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid, they need to know we’re coming for their jobs. Protect the programs people rely on, or prepare to be replaced.

100% we must deal with insider trading in both parties.
AOC: How can anyone possibly make an objective vote on healthcare, energy, or war when their personal wealth is tied up in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or defense company stock?

Seems legit

If it looks like insider trading and smells like Trump, it probably is insider trading. Pretty sure that is against the law. Every single politician who sold stock that day should be investigated.
Insider trading much? Didn’t Martha Stewart go to prison for that? Just curious 🤔

Good morning all!

Disgusting. The lack of respect for our fallen soldiers is inexcusable.

Today in history, 1933: The German Reichstag passes the Enabling Act, overriding constitutional checks and balances and giving Hitler and his Cabinet the power to make and enforce laws. It was the pivotal step in Germany’s transition to a Nazi dictatorship. /1

Even when I don't agree with you, I will fight to protect your right to free expression.
Reminder: the First Amendment protects everyone who resides in our country. It doesn't matter if you have a green card or a visa or if you're undocumented. The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that any person residing in the United States, regardless of status, is entitled to 1A protections.

The control that the billionaires have over even "mainstream" media and its abrupt turn to the right are disturbing to say the least.

Painfully accurate and also completely unacceptable.
“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

A reminder about those poorly treated people that Trump thinks deserve reparations for the way they were treated.
I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget what Trump did.

There is a reason it was the 5th amendment. No person, not no citizen.

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, ... nor shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law"

Not just hairdressers either, teachers using preferred name or pronouns, and non profits providing services.

Trans erasure is unacceptable, period. Also what the fuck is a gender non confirming haircut?
Arkansas bill targets 'gender nonconforming' haircuts for kids
If passed, the bill would let parents sue anyone supporting a minor's social gender transition, from hairdressers to teachers and nonprofits.
