I have a track record of painting villains so Nicole Horne art was pretty much inevitable. Icb this has been sitting on the WIP pile since February. Is it properly finished? No. but sometimes you gotta declare things finished for the sake of your own sanity. very villainous of me.

for today’s unofficial #CoffeeWorldCasey we aren’t in watery but in front of MY HOUSE where a carnival ride keeps blasting off 11h a day for 3 days straight. the gang seem to enjoy themselves though. For the most part.

I enjoy a well-thought-out, rule-based magic system in fiction as much as anyone, BUT I also think that we should give more props to what Terry Pratchett did in the Discworld books, where it was less about rules and more about vibes and, more importantly, what fit a given story the best.
