I'm sorry, but what's wrong with giving health care to immigrants? Republicans don't even want to give health care to citizens, but I don't understand the argument against keeping people who contribute billions of dollars to the economy healthy. It's also less expensive in the long run.

The statement suggests the officer fired his gun after he was hit by the car. I would not automatically trust DHS's versions of the events, as we have seen versions of this where an officer steps in front of a fleeing car then fires. Hopefully bodycams were running and can reveal the truth.
If I’m reading this correctly, it sounds like the officer fatally shot someone *as they fled*— Do I have that right?
