Any FinTwit refugees have good recommendations for how to invest going forward if securities regulations won’t be enforced and federal spending is going to be primarily directed towards friends of the kleptocracy?
Obvious answer: the two pro-kleptocracy stocks (on a tear), but I can’t support them.

I think Hunter actually had a board position on Amtrak at some point? I thought that was wrong but this Trump kid doesn’t even have the most basic credentials and his presence will (hopefully) drive a lot of their core users away.

Yes, we know—that’s how we got $TSLA with a P/E ratio above 200 (even as its earnings shrink), crypto bubble 2.0, and the entire meme stock craze.

(We’re still scoffing, but we have to adapt to the fools rushing in.)

Putting aside what appears to be a looming dead end for AI (in terms of profitability, if not technologically)— it’s hard for me to imagine how Meta does well longer term if a deluge of AI slop and censorship makes more and more educated Americans leave social media entirely.

I agree with what you’re saying BUT that was back before massive numbers of GOP election officials embraced dishonesty and outright fraud if it was what it takes to re-elect Trump. If a few red districts in red-purple states are all onboard with cheating, should be easy to accomplish.

This suggests to me that GOP leaders (and their tycoon media owner friends) expect to be able to pin the suffering on Democrats.

Pro-democracy voices need to be very clear that Trump is finding money to remodel his private jet, bail out Argentina, + build a Soviet-style ballroom but not pay troops.
