Berman extension is a reminder that most NWSL ownership is happy to use her as a shield for criticism.

Revenue is up, facilities are being built, that’s all that really matters no matter how out of touch Berman has appeared since the leadership shake up this spring.

Whether it’s Avery or not that’s a position of real need and has been all season. Casey was out a good chunk of the first half of the season too with injury, and a successor is needed.
