Watching a clip from a show Gianmarco Soresi did at a furry convention and it dawned on me:
Could fur suits be considered very large puppets? It’s a character in meatspace that is manipulated to be lifelike, so, sure. But that feels reductive.

WOW this looks absolutely incredible..... the team at ko op have outdone themselves once again congrats to everyone 🙏🙏🙏🙏
About 4 mins into the phenomenal Young Suns beta and already I’m noticing how accessible the ship’s common spaces are. No stairs (so far), only ramps. High vis tread at the tops and bottoms of said ramps, with traction along the incline. Door controls are at waist height. Wide hallways and doorways.

A lot of tech bros who were upset about pronouns want to confer them on their computers now that they’re dating
Can we stop calling an artificial representation of a person by a human-coded name? "She" does not exist. "She" is a reflection of someone's ingenue dreams, but "she" is pixels and code.

Little Free Anti-ICE Libraries: yesterday multiple people were abducted by ICE in my Chicago neighborhood (Avondale). This morning I added 40 ICE alert whistles to three different LFLs, including one box that is about a block from one of the kidnappings. I have ordered 700 whistles.

Another reason to NOT use genAI made assets as placeholders (if this is even a thing 🤷🏻♂️):
The person capturing footage for your game's trailer is much less likely to notice them!
When an asset is NEON HOT PINK or incredibly rough, that makes it crystal clear I should avoid or capture around it.
