The 2-year update to my old twitter fam is that I’m still in #Ithaca but now instead of living somewhere w/foxes I’ve got lots of bunnies & a lake view 🩵 I’ve been running a nonprofit Carshare for 2 years & finished the memoir I started in 2021 that is in review. It’s been all work, music & hiking❄️

Tonight I needed some dance music to workout to & can you believe Black Eyed Peas are 20 fucking years old? lol my kids got me into them. I put on Kesha, Rhianna, Beyoncé & that silly song by Duck Sauce “Barbara Streisand” - And it is all at least 15 years old. Someone make it stop!

There are a tremendous number of ICE watchers out in Rogers Park this afternoon after some early morning abductions.

People are guarding churches and patrolling alleyways. Ran into Alderperson Hadden. First timers tell us they're primed and ready to use their whistles.

I don’t think that’s the end goal, because they will always have an “other” to fight & will create new groups to make the other. I think they use the promise of removing these “others” as a pretense to gain power & control over all for their own personal gain, for as long as they can get away w/it.

Even if you support massive deportation operations, under no circumstances should ANYONE be ok with US citizens being forcibly removed from their homes and detained without explanation.

This is a clear violation of their constitutional rights and should universally condemned.
