One of my formative moments 70 years ago: my dad and I walked to a parade route when I was 4. Suddenly dad jumped up to push a stalled float down the road. Not knowing what was happening, I was terrified thinking I was abandoned. The lesson never left me. It's ok. We always jump up to help others.

If your church is turning away people who show up to your doors in good faith, you don't have a church. You have a very expensive book club with scarcely any wine.

If releasing the Epstein files would end your presidency, then your presidency must end. It’s that simple.

So if you’re Trump, what exactly do you say to Boebert when she asks you the reason why it is so important to you to hide the Epstein files from the public? Does he bother giving an explanation, or did he just skip directly to the threats?

what planet do these people live on? now ibuprofen? are we also against bandaids? Vitamin C?
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

Not that it matters anymore, but it’s important to point out that the White House did more to try and stop the release of the Epstein Files than to try and end the shutdown.

This is disgusting. Why do the old white men get off on torturing women?
Wisconsin Republicans are introducing a bill that mandates women use ‘catch kits’ when they have a miscarriage or abortion at home—forcing them to bag up their pregnancy tissue and bring it to the doctor as medical waste.

Donald Trump is, without question, the stupidest person to ever be president.

However, I think the case could be made that Donald Trump is also the stupidest person to ever become famous.

Trump told Laura Ingraham that the gold he vomited all over the walls of the Oval Office is not gold paint, but *real* gold.

His vulgarity is only exceeded by his dishonesty.

It’s the same old same old. Republicans do a tantrum and break the dishes. The Democrats clean it up. It’s an abusive relationship.

So if there is a bill to extend the subsidies is Marjorie Taylor Greene voting for it and will she get the others in GOP who are vulnerable--and there are a bunch--to vote for it, publicly calling them out? And does this mean the House is back and Epstein files released?

I’ve said this b4, but here’s a little inside baseball from a former Republican: Back in my GOP days, we Republicans would privately laugh at how Democrats would never go to the mat to win. We always knew Democrats wouldn’t fight to the death politically.

Last night proved Republicans right again.

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
