This is now my visual reminder that I can do things just because I want to. I wanted to paint something green, so I did.

I don't have fancy tools. I use a cheap funnel and measuring cups, an old jar with a lid, and organic bread flour. I used organic grapes early on for help with fermentation. i don't have a scale or a thermometer, none of that. Instead, my yeast and I have an accord. We understand each other.

You don’t have to keep watching any death videos. It doesn’t make you more empathic or connected

Atp, I’m suspicious of all these news outlets replaying the video & showing us new angles

You know what happened already. This is not for your benefit

@\audacityofdespair idc what he wrote, produced, whatever 👀

That man saw all that he’s seen & done through these long years, comes up with Police the Police. That IS audacious!

Audacity of Despair indeed. The artist & the art are tainted.

🧵 (this is the 2nd post in the thread)
I'm sort of sitting here and thinking namely about how misinformation seeded state intervention which led to an innocent person dying.

And if you don't see the connection between each node of that chain then we're not aligned on what "this" is.

A conversation.
I can factory reset this phone, use it like I always have.

But what are my other options? I’m willing to wait until those options become clearer to me.

Last night was my first dream about a world without cellphones. It had good vibes, the people acting out were handled. Lots of kid care & play.
I think I was ready for this because:

1) a lot of security concerns had me on my toes

2) but mainly, my Gen Alpha refuses a mobile phone so if we need to communicate by text /voice while we’re out, alternatives had to be devised

Kid continues to lead the way & I am always grateful that I listen.

I am reading John S. Mbiti‘s African Religions & Philosophy aloud and I’m so glad I chose to do this. These are words that want spoken and the tensions they carry and provoke in me are keeping me attentive.

Dang it. Now I have to move all my classes off of there.
So it looks like i hadn't mentioned this, here, so just in case let me say this plain: Instructure, the parent company & producer of the Canvas learning management software platform, has partnered with OpenAI, as of last year. There are a number of claims being made about privacy but… well. Heads up

Talking to family members about not having a cellphone & they’re good conversations.

Being accessible by phone ≠ being accessible to my family. Phone use can even make me inaccessible.

Going to test out using the iPad mini to receive county emergency notifications next. It has a SIM card.

Sin math <<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The fact that Grindr crashes during Republican conventions pisses me off so badly. So much of the world is being destroyed by closeted yt men who hate themselves. And I understand that it’s a societal problem, but they’re literally perpetuating it themselves! Just be gay and stop the bullshit!
