How much of Trump's Greenland obsession is about wanting to punish Denmark, which possesses Greenland, for not giving him the Nobel peace prize, even though the Nobel organization is headquartered in Oslo, the board consists of Swedish and Norwegian citizens, and Denmark is not a factor

MLK was only 39 when he was killed. Growing up, I thought that was old. But I’m 43 now and I’m stunned by the burden he shouldered at such a young age. I’m also a lot more aware of how hard it is, at any age, to carry the hopes and dreams of an oppressed people on your shoulders, as so many do.

Please! They’re finding that even though subclade K evades many immune defenses, hospitalizations among children especially are still mostly kids who weren’t vaccinated. theyre finding vaccination still slows community spread and is reducing illness severity. GET VACCINATED.
according to a thing I read this morning, only 1/4 of eligible people in my state got the flu vaccine so far, and now a 4-year-old died of the flu. Please get vaccinated if you can!

I didn’t want to say anything sooner that could identify them, but, in the last week, my little old parents were driving over the US border, a trip they do 3-5 times a year to the same place. When they returned to the US this time, they were detained and had to pay a tariff out of pocket 😰

I walked/stood 5 hours today. Barely have a voice because none of the meeting rooms had microphones for me, and got the worst foot cramp in my life. The tendon or whatever bunched up in my arch to about an inch, and my toes were acting like eldritch horrors. I’m excited to sleep tonight.
