2025 showed us local is where transformative change begins. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together and how we'll keep on fighting forward in 2026 and beyond!

Community, today I was on the scene at 34th and Portland where an observer was shot and killed by ICE. I am horrified, angered, and my heart is with the family who lost their loved one. She should still be alive.

My thoughts right now are with the loved ones of the victim murdered by ICE, an individual who was out in our community because of the care and love for our immigrant neighbors. The agent who murdered our neighbor must be arrested. 1/

The misclassification of workers is wage theft. It's stealing from workers and the families and communities they support with their hard-earned money.
No employer should ever underpay their workers—especially not when that work is funded through generous public subsidies.
