Winter in the north, specifically Maine, is a rough time. Friggin cold, lots of snow, y'know, the normal stuff. But also freezing water and sewage pipes.

I had an appt cancelled 2 minutes prior after already having driven 30 mins.

Her kid's daycare had a pipe burst. Check your pipes in the cold!

Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). I appreciate your taking the time to do so. While DHS does not typically confirm law enforcement operations, I can report that Secretary Noem has informed me that ICE has ended its enhanced activities in the State of Maine. Normal border protection and enforcement operations that have been ongoing in Maine for many years will continue. I had urged Secretary Noem to get ICE to reconsider its approach to immigration enforcement in the state and to pause the surge in ICE operations in both Maine and Minnesota. The enforcement should be far more targeted and focus on individuals who are here illegally and have criminal convictions. Immigrants have long been an important part of our state, and they continue to make valuable contributions to our communities. People who are in this country legally and have not engaged in criminal activity should not be targets of investigations by ICE. They should be able to continue to go to work, school, and other public places and carry on with their normal lives. If for some reason an individual who is here legally is improperly detained, there should be accessible recourse through the legal system. It is also critical that ICE and other federal law enforcement agents recognize both the public’s right to protest and the highly charged situation they face. I was appalled to learn of the tragic shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal officers in Minnesota. My heart goes out to their families, friends, and all who knew and loved them. While DHS policy permits officers to utilize deadly force when the officer has a reasonable belief that someone is posing an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury to them or another person, the loss of life must be a last resort. I think I've figured out why my art gets almost no traction.

SOOO many artists use AI, and I refuse too. Somehow, these slop artists get more money, and more views than actual artists.

It almost makes me want to quit doing this.

The Colossus from the 2025 MM. This creature is human in shape and as tall as a building. It is made almost completely of granite. Its head is helmet like, with large protrusions on each side. Its face is a black pit of nothingness, with two glowing eyes. It has a massive crystal in its chest, and a smaller at its waist. It is covered in moss and cracks.

Ok, so, I forgot my phone and went to the bathroom.

I use my phone to watch dumb things and stay distracted.

I picked up the nearest bottle (head & shoulders) and saw it expired in 10/2017.

We don't even know where it came from... we've never used it either, it's completely full.....

How even?
