Gonna do some trippy peacock effect, hopefully get those good-good glaze drippies and trail.🤞 It's gotta be fired first.🤞🤞

I think this'll be a yule gift for my sister. If it all works out, I'd be up for making more! I'll let y'all know how it goes.😊

Letting go of pride doesn't mean you're not disappointed. You can be disappointed. Pride comes in when the idea of failure keeps you from trying again.

Laughter helps. It's tough to be glib about something you spent hours on, but it's truly the best medicine.

Learn from mistakes, and keep going.❤️

The thing with art is - and this goes for every art form - you've gotta be willing to screw up. You have to be okay with the idea that you spend hours & hours on something...and it sucks, or breaks before you're done.

You need to let go of pride.

A lot of folks are not prepared to let go of pride.

Here's a bowl I made today that will bear all of the pasta which will surely fix my dismay over shit happening in the world.

A huge bowl (14" wide) made from white stoneware sitting on a dirty potter's wheel. The sides of the bowl have a very gradual slope leading up from a flat bottom. Beyond the bowl are two dirty buckets and a small table with a bag of clay and a coffee mug.
