Trump lied about immigrants in 2016 too. He then defeated an official from the administration that holds the deportation record.

If migration caused Trump's reelection (I don't think it did), it wasn't b/c of migrants. It was b/c mainstream, centrist outlets amplified fearmongering about migrants.

An interesting thing to note about this Epstein release: they collated the Trump accusations into a document, then added a “criminal history” column about complainants — not present in many of the files — as if they were specifically working to discredit allegations against Trump.

Hey so deporting citizens is already illegal and making this our bargaining chip is both bottomlessly amoral and strategically insane. Hope that helps.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) on Thursday said House Democrats will demand a ban on the deportation of American citizens as a condition of winning their support for legislation funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

I’ve harped on this for years but the reason there’s a seemingly (or at least relatively) “low” amount of corruption in US politics is because we’ve legalized all of it.
The issue isn't whether "Melania" is a good movie or a bad one. It's that one of the richest men in America, with business interests affected by public policy, gave the President's family $75 million to make it. Like that's somehow legal.
