Hello World?

My name is Lonnie and I have caved in and joined the bsky ranks. I am not a refugee from the bird place but interested in giving bsky a go.

I am a hobby #photographer in #tulsa #oklahoma I use both digital and film cameras, and I enjoy developing my own film.

Happy to be here.

Motherfucking wind farms…
Just a rainy night in Tucumcari, NM.
It rained most of the drive, but the rain stopped for about 10 minutes while we were passing through. #route66 #lucilles #roadtrip #photography #photographersunited #motherroad #oklahoma

ICE tear gassed people who were stuck in their vehicles because ICE blocked the intersection.

They were not even protesters. They were just stuck there due to ICE blocking them. As the helpless car passengers watched, ICE, unprovoked, began firing gas canisters upon the cars.
Last stop at the end of a long drive.
This is how you know you've already lost.
come at me with a release date already.
Exactly, the fact that 3 of them died of (allegedly) of natural causes tells us that maybe there should be a retirement age. I still think it's rather convenient for this regime, almost like how so many people fall out of windows in Russia. #tinfoilhat
Defund 47, leave PBS alone. Also for my instant photography friends. This dropped a few days ago and I'm about 2/3rds the way finished watching it. Very interesting.

The saddest thing about our apocalypse is the severe lack of Nuke-A-Cola
My job is sending me to a conference in San Diego next month and I convinced them to instead re-imburse me the flight costs so I can drive route66 with my camera. I have no complaints.

I also love that the raw file is in black and white by default unlike my Canon where it would revert then to color.
In the late 90's and Early 2000's I knew a lot of Canadians that would drive down and basically live here and hang out and work construction jobs. They were white so no one questioned their status and the boarder to CA was pretty much open anyways.
Plot twist, It's the same alleyway, just at opposite ends. 🤣
This was a couple years ago in my hometown, It's crazy how these places all look the same.
My two moods the last few weeks. 🤣
Sadly, this is the best outcome.
I joked to myself, "welp, buy the dip amirite" but that implies that there will be a rebound. :(
This looks like it might be pretty good.
Pow! is about to start its film festival run and couldn’t be happier that I was able to give @vinceschilling.bsky.social a first look! We chat about my inspirations for Pow! and show off the poster and a few stills.
Check it out at Native Viewpoint!

Oh, I just stumbled upon this, this looks to be great. I cannot wait until the rest of us can watch it. :)
I'm so bummed that I wasn't able to attend. It looks like it was another great one.
