Whether digital or tabletop, I enjoy a good game. And lore! It's in the name. Start Playing Games profile: https://startplaying.games/gm/loremasterbernard

1) Dorian (the voice acting made him feel so real)
2) Corypheus ("I have seen the throne of the gods, and it was EMPTY!")
3) I've actually only read Tevinter Nights and some of the comics, but I would have to say either Audric from "Down Among the Dead Men" or Francesca Invidus from "Blue Wraith".
Being a Dragon Age fan is so fun because your favourite characters will be
1. your favourite love interest
2. someone who is in direct opposition to person 1
3. someone who appeared in a book and then was basically never mentioned again

Mainly tripped up on DA2 stuff. Which... yeah, that feels accurate. One day I'll go back and play both it and Origins all the way through.
I'm pretty sure that it's Carolina Ravassa, who also voices Sombra in Overwatch and Teia in Dragon Age Veilguard. Had to look up her name, but it definitely sounds like her!
Just finished the last session of a three-year long #5e #DnD campaign that I ran on @startplaying.bsky.social . I've got a lot of thoughts about it I want to talk about, here and maybe elsewhere, but right now I just want to say it was a good and satisfying conclusion, and thank you to my players. 💚
I keep thinking of one day writing fan-fic of Rook going to find the missing companion and all that would entail, including what cut content and data mining seems to suggest. Maybe one day.... maybe....
1) Star Wars Expanded Universe (Non-Disney canon!)
2) Dragon Age (honestly mostly because of @ghildirthalen.bsky.social )
3) TTRPGs
List 3 things you can talk about for 3 hours without prep:
1.) Dragon Age (lmao)
2.) Sailor Moon
3.) Probably Animal Crossing?

The first two I could easily do 6 hours, so I'm struggling with a 3rd.

Wait, what? I thought they were his nephews! I've thought that since ORIGINAL Animal Crossing!
This is an older memory at this point, but I think one of the things that turned me off from it was the main character and the story for a while just felt shallow? IIRC, the main character was a kid who didn't want to study or something and then just found the grimoire. No sadness, drama, or stakes.
OMG, FFTA was one of the first Final Fantasy games that I ever played! I even tried to do fan-art for a "green mage" idea but it never got far. And I'm in the same boat as you are, never played the original. And I actually own A2 but never got very far. For some reason it felt... weird? Le shrug.
To the people who complain that nobody wants to work? How can we work if you are GIVING THE JOBS TO COMPUTERS?
Fuck me this is bleak.
But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.

The article mentions the skimmer being able to follow leyline paths... underwater? That's intriguing. And a pinch of hope for underwater content.
Sorry for your loss. Wish I had better words to help.
Is it perfect? No, but no game is! And it's still a good Dragon Age game, especially considering what the developers went through. Hopefully, we'll get more one day. Thank you to the #DragonAgeTheVeilguard devs!

Wow it's almost like it's actually an objectively well made game and is actually fun with amazing characters and good story telling! 😅😭 #DragonAgeTheVeilguard #DAV

Writing a GM section is hard.

So instead I wrote down every role I could imagine that a GM might play and instructed the reader to kind of figure it out themselves as they go
I'm literally getting over back pain and my older cousins' kids are graduating from college. 🪦
My first Rook, a human mage LoF named Rohan, did a lot of ice magic specifically because he wanted to be able to create walls, stairs, and even life-boats during missions around the coats of Rivain.
Altara can cook but not anything elaborate, over the years Lucanis taught her how to cook and it became a thing they enjoyed doing together, she especially enjoys baking.

Can you Rook cook?

Hello, congrats on the subscription numbers and hope you're doing well. Not sure if you've ever answered this question before, but was there ever any consideration for DA spin off games, such as a tactics-style game?
Going alright. Preparing to run my first game of Daggerheart thi evening. Wondering if I should order groceries today or tomorrow. Drinking some Coke Cherry Zero. Very casual.
This is so freaking cute oh my gods
Ooh, that's a thought. Maybe having a mixed middle weapon skill based on the legends, like thief or weaver? Or perhaps do that for the utility skills instead?
I just watched the video where this was announced and I felt like I was LOSING MY MIND. 🤯
Hey Gang! I could not be more thrilled to step behind the screen for Campaign 4 of Critical Role, and cannot wait to share all the amazing things me and this incredible team have been cooking up for you! 🐲⚔️🔮
