Thats great and all but how would I know to check the website for a calendar holiday being moved? Its not a thing I would ever have even considered. Hopefully there are signs in places around town as well for thos who don't know to check.

We are one of the biggest economies in the world. Why are smaller States helping their people more?
We already know Newsom doesn't like homeless people. People have food stamps are probably in a similar category to him.

Had friends and other parts of the country to help me that their states are stepping up to assist food Banks and possibly use emergency funds for state local food stamp system.
Looked in the news in California. Saw uping police in stores and national guard deployed to help food banks.
