In 2024 animation was almost 25% of the box office.
Any studio that would act like "We don't need to have 25% of our profits" would be seen as insane and their CEO would be ousted immediately, so I don't know why other people who think animation isn't a worthwhile investment aren't also shunned.

It just now hit me that the new Street Fighter movie will release a mere week after Legend of Aang. That's two Paramount-distributed flicks back-to-back (in the US anyway). Pretty ballsy, but I guess that what can happen when one movie keeps getting delayed.
