Lots of new people on here so I thought I’d say hi! I’m an NYC based comedic performer, writer & DJ. I teach comedy at Second City and have written for Sesame Workshop and Archie. I’ve been producing, directing and performing with Story Pirates since 2007. I’m thrillingly gay.

I want a full oral history of early Second City now. The same goes for SCTV. We've already lost too many important voices who were the titans of (North)American comedy. Catherine O'Hara's death today is proof of that fact. @pulmyears.bsky.social's John Candy bio was good for that, but not enough.

Even in Jerry Kasenetz’s NYT obituary Bubblegum Music is misunderstood. There were many thinly veiled psychedelic / anti war songs produced by Super K. See Captain Groovy And His Bubblegum Army, Jelly Jungle of Orange Marmalade by The Lemon Pipers, Mary Wanna by 1910 fruigum co, I could go on.
