3 yrs ago, to almost the hour. Last #BusStopSelfie after my last walk to my last day at work at SSSA at Ed Uni. on precipice of last few days living in Edinburgh, in what would be last few days of a marriage. Went forward with positivity and never looked back yet with anything other than gratitude

finished re-reading #FriedGreenTomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe, which i possibly read 30 years ago. theres the strength of platonic love, LGBTQIA representation, and non-traditional families and community… and there’s the weight of racism, slurs, fat phobia, sexism which ultimately pulled it down

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.
