Hello from this sleepy little saw-whet owl we saw on our walk today.
So long Symphony of Fire/Celebration of Light. Maybe we can just get a bunch of smokers to light up some Benson & Hedges cigs at the same time to simulate fireworks. 😂

This is surely going to get foreign tourists back into the USA. 🙄

The brightly lit interior of the morning train was a stark contrast to the murky, foggy darkness it was cutting through next to the river this morning.

A recovery night for the Canadiens in every sense from goaltending, to goals, to physicality in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

Also, the Wilde Cards is a look at the myth of poor defence versus the truth of poor netminding.

The Canadiens aren't just a good team tonight. They're a good team, period. Young and with a ways to go but there is a bundle of talent here - some of it in goal.
Teams lose games. Even good teams. It's a long season. Other teams are also trying to win.
But have some faith. These Habs can play.

I've been preaching what a fourth line is supposed to bring in this new NHL in the last month, and how the Canadiens lacked the formula.

Today, Florian made me look good. He showed that that's the formula. Be mean. Throw your big body around. Hammer the D as F1. Make sure you do at least 0-0. ✅✅✅✅

Always a wonderful thing to see the #Habs hand the Leafs a loss on a Saturday night.

Small sample size, but if Florian continues to bring what he's brought tonight he can stay in the #Habs lineup.

The goaltending situation with the #Habs right now has every shot against an absolute adventure. It's one thing to see a goal against coming a few seconds before it does from an obvious defensive breakdown, but absolutely deflating to see pucks that even Andre "Red Light" Racicot would stop go in.
The only thing more damaging to a hockey team than having a goaltender who can’t stop the puck is having two goaltenders who can’t stop the puck.
On the undeniable problem the Canadiens need resolved immediately👇🏻

The Wilde Cards an update on Laval and I’m not particularly pleased with that either.

You'd think at least Arber could have tried to beat the hell out of Wilson to at least give the #Habs fans something tonight.

You might want to invent a dozen reasons to chat about why the Canadiens are losing.

You’d be wrong.

They haven’t had a better than 870 goalie performance since Utah game.

Tonight, 6 allowed on 30. .800.

800 gives you no chance to win.
