It has next to nothing to do with the type of health insurance and everything to do with the altering of trans healthcare as "specialist" and requiring specific doctors to receive care. As well as increasing numbers of trans people coming out, and lots of transphobia in the UK.

Yes, I am "stuck" in the empirically factual mindset that if America stopped being racist sexist nimrods for 2 seconds and voted Harris into the presidency instead of an extremist fascist terrorist, then trans people would not currently be facing literal eradication.
