I don’t think they’ve even recovered from the time the Italians brought infected cows to Africa when trying (and failing) to colonise Ethiopia. Poaching and habitat loss are the cherry on top.

I’d love to comb through the chapters of Walter Rodney’s How Europe Underdeveloped Africa and attempt to apply what I can to South East Asian colonial history, comparing and contrasting the two in a book.
Also learn to translate children’s books in the public domain into local Ugandan languages.
