Back in Spring 2021, I created a 12 page comic for Cartooning class back in college where I then took that student comic, and posted it on Twitter on June 12th that same year to coincide the then-40th anniversary of the first Indiana Jones film, Raiders of The Lost Ark. #CartoonOCs, #Comics.

Cartoon Network first went on the air on this day in 1992.

Turner Broadcasting gave us a network and childhood stable filled with reruns of classic cartoons, eye catching bumpers, critically acclaimed shows and cult favorites. Nothing can deny the impact that Cartoon Network had on animation.

Yeah. The commercials where Barney tricks Fred into giving him his Fruity/Coco Pebbles cereal are what introduced me to The Flintstones as a kid, since the show itself had already moved from CN to Boomerang by then. The problem was my family's former cable provider, Comcast, didn't have Boomerang.

I think Zaslav should not give up on Warner Bros, I mean sure the studio has had a rocky start when he took over

But the studio has had huge box office hits recently, and the DCU is doing very well under James Gunn, and their first animated movie under WBPA is coming out next year

This wouldn't be the only time @alyankovic.bsky.social would crossover with Scooby-Doo, as he was a guest star on Scooby-Doo and Guess Who in 2019 in the episode "Attack of the Weird-Al-Osaurus", where he runs his own accordion summer camp that's attacked by a giant dinosaur.

#DontSellWB If you are a fan of Warner Bros., call your Congressman and politely express your concern that Paramount Skydance merging with Warner Bros. Discovery is a huge anti-trust concern. Downsizing will see no growth in the entertainment industry. That's across the board.

It's finally happening. The Warner Archive will release the entire run of the Will Hanna and Joe Barbera directed Tom and Jerry (aka the best ones) on Blu-Ray. The first time they've all been made available in one collection and will include all of the unreleased/banned cartoons.
