One of the many minor absurdities of the present moment is doing a search for "cheapest x" and being presented with many websites all listening many of the same items for x and all being not just not cheap but actually painfully expensive for those of us who aren't successful middle managers.

Technically competent as I am, and as stable as Ableton Live usually is for me, it sure is fun when it starts crashing repeatedly when I'm trying to hit a deadline. This happens to folks a lot! Maybe poor organising (by me), but there's definitely an air of cosmic bedevilement in urgent moments!
