Our roleplaying game:
- squirms with aquatic awfulness
- invites revenge upon King George III
- has diagrams explaining how wind works
- is now funded
- still won't pay my bills (but YOU could change that, maybe)

I wrote this! I do hope you Fallen Londoners enjoy it.
Looking upon one's likeness is always a little uncanny. But there is some awful radiance to those eyes. As if some creature had taken your shape upon the canvas.

PASSAGE: THE AVATAR (1988)
Acrylic on Canvas - 48" x 48"

Initially inspired by a few notes from a Pink Floyd instrumental track, this came to me while floating in a sensory deprivation tank. 1/4

Ooh, look what just arrived! Absolutely beautiful work by @ianmcque.bsky.social with @rossignol.bsky.social - looking forward to drinking it in later.

Slightly disappointed it smells of fresh print and not diesel and sea water :)

Not really the point, but why is Huang always wearing his little biker jacket? It's clearly an affectation, but I genuinely don't know what it says, to always be wearing a costume when you are an adult, much less a CEO. Seems as odd to me as if he showed up as an astronaut or Dracula.
I don’t want to seem out of touch but I don’t actually understand the economy anymore.

In which I claim that Bloodlines 2 will eventually be regarded as an underrated gem. An enrapturing, century-spanning murder mystery, sharp writing, richly entertaining characters, AND you can flirt with an anthropomorphised pool table. I don't care that it's not an imsim, full fat RPG or whatevs.
Pod! @matronboy.bsky.social and @marshdavies.bsky.social throw themselves into the depths of Ball x Pit, launch themselves into toilets in Bloodlines 2, and dive cinematically from exploding balconies in Battlefield 6.

Great thread on differentiating cliché from writing which is intentionally rendered transparent by its familiarity.
Here’s an interesting thing…

Obviously, any reference a ”shape in fog” is familiar, and in general that kind of familiar phrase is suspect. However…
