He'd never seen anything like it, not on farms or fieldwork or in any of his textbooks, finger-long crystals expressing out of the earth in the aftermath of rain. We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our prize donors for Fall into Winter 2025. Twice a year we run a 50-day writing challenge for any kind of writer at any level. The idea is that you set any writing related goal you like, then use the 50 days to get it done. You can come along to our in-person events or online events, or use the motivation to work away on your project at home. There are several accountbaility options for writers in the challenge including a favourite option to meet a fellow writer and team up to be a Nuclear Pear (see the last photo for our wonderful Pear mascots). You and your partner can motivate each other during the challenge, that might be via email, over text, or in person over coffee. And we offer incentives for the pairs which are kindly donated by local sponsors.
