Seeing as the hive mind has freed all the animals, where on Earth did the cat distribution system go? Wouldn't Carol be besieged? #Pluribus

Apropos of nothing, Far From Heaven has some of the most beautiful uses of color in a movie I've ever seen. It's stuck with me for decades how beautifully color is used, and how it practically becomes another character in the story.

Todd Haynes remaking Carol—which I loved—BUT a la Sirk as he did with Far from Heaven.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Ray Bradbury may have been from Illinois, but he developed as a writer in Los Angeles, and much of his fiction is shaped by the city. One of his greatest stories, "There Will Come Soft Rains," is set here.

Anyone up for putting together a Twaddlepunk anthology? Stories set in an alternate Japan as envisioned by white men selling hustleporn?

These guys are a genre unto themselves.

I don’t really get writer’s block, but I do have lulls in excitement for which long walks to angsty music are an instant fix.
Q3: What helped you get out of writer’s block? Is this a strategy you’ve used consistently, or do you need to take a different approach every time? #WeeknightWriters #FirstDraftFall
