"You, of course, realize the need to make stupid jokes and comments is just a defense mechanism."

"Yeah, but it's the BEST one!"
Hey all there out there in BlueSky land.

I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thanks" for putting up with, and occasionally liking, the stupidity churned out on this account.
Lots of stuff wrong in the world at the moment but taking a beat to be thankful for the people I have in my life.

Also true, there are a LOT of very old words that can be used to describe them as well....

"There can be no other interpretation..." said the man who has to have 9 different members of the GOP give us 9 different explanations of "What he really meant..." every time he opens his festering gob.

I think this sums Musk up perfectly.

The man has more money than he can ever spend in a lifetime. He has almost infinite choice in how to spend his free time. His idea of fun?

"Make fun of someone's appearance at a party."

Yeah, life well spent, Scrooge McFuck!
Everything about this might be the saddest thing I’ve ever seen

So, of course, it always comes down to the same two questions:

What did the horse know and when did the horse know it.
NEW: We’ve uncovered the first known example of taxpayer money flowing from DHS to businesses controlled by Kristi Noem’s allies and friends.

It’s part of a money trail that’s been shrouded in secrecy—and involves $220 million, a mysterious Delaware LLC & a horse named Gill.

Yes, this is the pattern.

He is going to promise checks.
He is going to convince his base he is signing every check personally.
His staff will tell him in private it can't be done.
He will then say that Biden/Obama/Democrats are responsible for the check not coming.
He will play the victim.
November 13, 2025 at 10:33 PM
I am guessing he almost had her convinced until he made the joke about her "being good with her hands."
One reason you hold a meeting to pressure/cajole/threaten Boebert in the Situation Room is so she can't record it.

Just going to go out on a limb here and guess that Laura Ingraham may NOT be the best person to determine what is "real" and what is not.
Yeah whoever jacked up tariffs on coffee from Brazil earlier this year must be a real bonehead
November 12, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Something about a dude who has been running the same stupid con's over and over again telling the rest of the nation "You people need to learn!"
Meanwhile he knee-caps the Department of Education.

Reconciling BS like this in their brains is a large reason so many MAGA are pissed off all the time.
So Trump says he has to “bring in” foreign talent because American workers don’t have it. I also notice he says “No YOU don’t have it, instead of WE, Americas President is a literal foreign agent

This week, in yet another episode of "I got mine!"
The guy who literally survived a stroke because of accessible healthcare now parrots GOP talking points that healthcare is extreme. Fuck off, Fetterman.

Anybody who has ever been of worth to their employer and has ever stood up for themselves will be familiar with this rhetoric.

If you aren't willing to be sh!t on upon people who could not do your job then you are "short sighted", "not a team player" or "need to re-examine your priorities."
Sean Duffy threatens "action" against air traffic controllers who didn't come to work during the shutdown: "I'm concerned about their patriotism."

Not sure which gets me more...

A woman with multiple divorces standing up for the "sanctity" of marriage.

Or a person refusing to do the job they campaigned for and still believing they are entitled to a paycheck.

How does either one of these represent "conservatism"?
November 10, 2025 at 4:48 PM
All the commotion going on around him and Trump stands there like one of Elon's "robots" while its human controller took a break to run to the bathroom...

Oh....OH GOD!!!
November 7, 2025 at 5:51 PM
A perfect metaphor for this Administration.

Something in the administration goes wrong, Trump's minions fall all over themselves trying to control the situation while the President stares into the distance and wonders where he is.

This is an actual photo of the orange felon’s reaction as someone was having a medical emergency in the Oval Office. Evil asshole, he should be in jail not in the White House.

I really believe one of the major issues in our nation is the co-dependency between "news" organizations that need to supply fresh content 24/7 and people who are addicted to seeing themselves on TV.
Both are getting a cheap fix.
Jeanine Pirro bragging in August that she just arrested Sandwich Guy and was going to teach him a lesson in court.

Interesting that many of the people saying "don't get TOO excited about this election" are the same people who rail that the 2020 election was stolen.

To anyone who claims the "diversity is not a strength."

I would challenge you to a game of Madden in which I play the 1992 Seattle Seahawks, and you get to use any year of the Patriots you want, but all positions are filled by copies of Tom Brady.
