"Yeah, but it's the BEST one!"
Honey, if you just allow me to sleep with any woman I want, I will be so much happier at home. Can't you see how this benefits you and the kids?
EISEN: It's strange if you really think GDP is around 7% to argue for lower interest rates in that environment, especially w/ inflation above target

HASSETT: If we continue to have the supply side boom we've seen in the first half of this year there will be plenty of room for the Fed to lower rates

Why does every day in the White House have to resemble a one panel comic strip from Playboy in 1975?
Trump on Kathryn Burgum: "I saw them riding horses in a video. And I said, 'Who is that?' I was talking about her, not him. I said, 'I'm gonna hire her,' because anybody that has somebody like you to be with, it's an amazing tribute."

I am thinking if they just insist on all curtains be removed from the White House, the sunlight will pretty much take care of it.
Democrats' demand that Stephen Miller is fired as a condition of voting for ICE funding is one of the smartest moves they've made under Trump.

Miller is a loathsome figure who I imagine has rock-bottom likability numbers. Democrats should try to raise his public salience as often as possible.

Saying that a man who knows how to run a business knows how to grow an economy is like saying a person who is good at driving a car fast knows how to maintain and repair an engine.

While they may both include the same object; the knowledge, techniques and goals don't necessarily match.

HOMAN: The reason for the massive deployment is bc of the threats & violence

By whom?

Towards whom?
CNN: How did we get to a place where we had Bovino having Border Patrol agents stopping citizens in interior of the country, asking them ID, creating fear? Who made the decisions to allow this kind of operation to proceed?

Follow up questions:

What are the goals?
What has been achieved?
What has any of this produced?

and if you could answer in some form of response that wasn't absolute complete bullshit, it would be appreciated.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Dear God in Heaven, please hear my plea and allow me to live long enough to see this movie featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Remember, Citizens...

Everything bad is YOUR fault.
Trump refuses to take responsibility for anything.

Someone going to remove that "honorable" from his name placard? Anyone?
DUCKWORTH: The administration has acknowledged that the vast majority of the men it rounded up and deported to torture under this law had no criminal record

RUBIO: We didn't torture anybody. Who did we torture?

I stopped reading this after the second word.

There is only so much suspension of disbelief one brain can maintain.

Why would voter and SNAP data be a condition regarding application of immigration enforcement?
Pam Bondi's conditions for Minnesota: 1) give us all your state data on your food programs, including SNAP 2) repeal all your sanctuary policies in the state (since it has led to "so much crime and violence") and 3) hand over your state voting rolls. Letter here: www.fox9.com/news/minneap...

All I am saying is, if Brian LeFevre yells "BINGO!" ...check the HELL out of that card.
I mean this is all sorts of dumb but claiming that the judiciary is left leaning when the Supreme Court keeps doing stupid shit to make Trump happy is really a stretch and a half.

All this despite them getting to cosplay as actual real men every single day.
What a shame, how terrible for them.

Like Brett Ratner would ever make a bad movie...
Airlines will not show this to prevent walkouts.

The current "Pro Life" crowd is more concerned with perceived threats to armed government immigration officers brutalizing and accosting citizens than they are with the very real threat our children live under every day when doing nothing other than going to school, which is a legal requirement.

Keep. Pushing.
The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Waymo founder John Krafcik: Tesla’s Full Self-Driving has ‘bad case of myopia’

One of the godfathers of autonomous driving argues that Tesla’s FSD has a “bad case of myopia.”

Musk said to the crowd: ‘I’m often asked: Are there aliens among us? And I’ll say that I am one.’
‘I think if anyone would know if there were aliens among us, it would be me.’

He wants to exempt himself from any responsibility to anyone else on the planet.

He so wants to feel "special"

If corporations are people...

How can I own one?
The decision was 5-4.

The fifth vote was Alito who was appointed by Bush.

In a contested election, Bush became president when Al Gore decided to concede "for the better of the country".

Boy, was he fucking wrong.

Just a note:

If Jack Smith had found proof to absolve Trump, or even if he found nothing that would prove Trumps guilt, they would not have acted against the investigation.

They would have made it required reading for every student, grade school to college undergrad.
Donald Trump shouldn't be in the White House.
