fellow helicopter haters: my hepa filter does a very good job of drowning out the noise. it does this with a different, louder noise, yes, but i've found it's less distressing because it's a useful noise (cleaning my apartment's air)

Let me tell you a tale of how completely the normies have been mobilized. My 14 year-old niece has done School of Rock for the past 5 years; last summer she was part of their touring band, and the kids loved playing together so much that they decided to keep doing it. (1/?)

This is an incredibly important thread. Other lawyerly folks I know have been saying similar (and sometimes even more horrifying) things. This is straight-up war crime territory, and it’s happening all around the USA. It will come for you if you allow it to continue.

Not only that, but IIRC, he also met @markhamillofficial.bsky.social at a convention before Star Wars even came out and helped him sneak into a showing of Dark Star.
This reminds me of a story I heard years ago from Rob Ihinger (local fan, husband of my friend Peg, who died in 2018.)

Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.
