Lover of Scottish scenery. Also my feline friend Lizzie. Divide my time between Skye and Glasgow equally. Politics… given up and I don’t want to discuss. uaireannan faodaidh beagan eòlais a bhith troimh-chèile

#MonteRosa in the Italian Alps

My favourite day in the last week.
I need to come back here.
Monte Rosa across the valley
A winding road and trees are visible
The mountain has snow on top

Arrived on Skye and the strangest thing.
I have acquired two more waste bins that do not belong to me.
No idea where they came from.

Departing a convergence of hues. 🌅 #nature #sunrise #photography
Glancing down a narrow farm road, towards a secluded copse that's restored with birdsong. Morning mist ghosts over the tilled fields. The first warming colours of daily promise are dissolving the cool, nighttime blues.

Low lying clouds slowly disappearing with blue sky.
Mountains can be seen

Just need to breathe.
Just need to feel …. difficult to explain but just feel everything
Put the word mountain in my photos, loads of hits but won’t upload any photos

Oh. Amazing.
It is so scenic.
If I didn’t have a home on Skye it is definitely one of the places I would choose to live.

It has to be somewhere

Tell me more…..
Because I would fall in love too

Just adding a GlenElg broch for your perusal

Glenelg is a beautiful place but it must be a hard place to stay in the winter with difficulty connecting over the hill.
Though a centre of civilisation since the Iron Age at least……

I have the photos ….but won’t say no to another

I love this ferry.
I love Glenelg tucked away from the main tourist areas on the West Coast but such a delight to visit and experience.

The Glenelg Ferry runs from March till October to Skye.
I

Yes, I do.
I definitely think that in Scotland, for some, there is an insular viewpoint.
I don’t think that way at all.
However I totally accept that I should really visit more places in this island.
Even more so I need to visit Eire.
My grandmother came from there.

You mean the ferry?
The link didn’t connect.
This is the last week of the ferry and I will be on it crossing to have lunch at the GlenElg Inn.
