Lovely treat today at Pasticceria di Leo in Bishop’s Stortford . Delicious pistachio tiramisu and choux craquelin with pumpkin chantilly cream (shared between two of us - not eaten solely by me!!). Well worth a visit.

I realise that Gone Fishing is not officially on TV until 9pm but watched a couple of episodes on BBC I-player. Wonderful - feel-good programme which is just what we need today with the bonus of friendship, good humour and fantastic scenery.

My beautiful dog passed away many years ago - this was her a few months before she died. A gorgeous girl who set the bar for all dogs in the family since. She’s still missed.

Went for flu jab today at our local hospital organised by several local surgeries. Thanks to the medical staff and volunteers we were straight in and out within minutes. Excellent service.
