The last 6 months have been a shit show. Government programs are being gutted rapidly. Incompetence reigns as partisan hacks fire qualified civil servants, make life harder/more expensive for average Americans, all while destroying whatever faith we had in our systems. Don’t give up. Keep fighting.

It’s been an exhausting first week of this administration. Do not despair and do not give up hope! It’s a strategy to overload and shock our systems. They want us to give up. They want us apathetic. Step back when you need to and take time for your mental health, but fight as you’re able.

I know he’s lawless but the federal government has zero fucking say in the hiring and firing decisions of state government. Oregon has a blue Governor and a blue AG. They will not allow this man to be fired by the President.

I will never forgive a single one of them for what they did to destroy this country and make life harder for the non-billionaire class. We tried desperately to warn them and they refused to listen. If I’m fortunate I still have a long life ahead of me. I’ll carry this grudge to my deathbed.

I don’t think those in power appreciate what they’ve done. Their policies are making virtually EVERYTHING more expensive at the same time:health premiums, energy bills, groceries, income-based student loans, housing. 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, this is going to tip ppl over the edge.

Do not let them privatize! 2/3rds of all personal bankruptcies here are due to medical debt: I was 8 when my parents lost our house in bankruptcy due to medical bills. I know several people who had health insurance but didn’t catch their cancer until stage 3 or 4. We can’t afford to be seen!
