Once again, I give thanks to the sporting gods that I really don't give a flying fuck about cricket. I used to, in my 20s, but it disappeared from the telly shortly after I disappeared from Yorkshire and I realised I didn't miss it in the slightest.

There's a band on at the hotel pool bar doing standard covers of MOR songs, with an African beat. The lass singing has clearly learned the words from listening to the originals. There's been some great wrong words!
