There's a lot of people spreading what is an obvious fake picture of Epstein and Farage.

There's enough real shit to spread about the frog-faced nazi without restoring to fake pictures which could potentially lead to legal action.

Some impressive work by AI mapping tools here!
Given that Ordnance Survey is synonymous with some of the most trusted mapping in the world (and has been for a very long time) to gamble that reputation on the electric idiot lantern of Ai seems remarkably crass.
Recent threads on Ai and maps have been at least amusing...

Either this is a superb (but misspelt) bit of life advice, or the manufacturer of the protective boot I've got for my Achilles injury also has shares in the fishing industry...

Utter Thunderbastard from Sunlun, that. Particularly good after the hilarious air shot a few seconds before.

If you've never seen this film then here's your chance.

If you have, then you know you'll want to see it again.

Set record if you are out!
You simply won't see a better film today than Went the Day Well? playing today (Sat 4.45 Jan 31) on @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social

I reviewed this classic British movie under the title 48 Hours and I'll post a link every time this stunning film screens.

A marvellous whodunnit from Mark Watson here, folks.

This is a fine bit of listening for your pleasure. Do try it - it's weekly but you've only got a handful to catch up with.
This is ticking along nicely still, would love to have you on board. I don't feel bad promoting it because I'm comfortably making a loss on it. Trailer from @matryer.bsky.social once more.

The issue with parties like Labour in the UK and the Democrats in the US is that sincerity has been trained out in favour of managerial triangulation towards an imaginary median voter. What Mamdanis show is that voters don't really exist until a politician actively gives them something to vote for.
Such crude spectacles (ie. right-wing populism) can for sure be beaten by good ideas and sincerity. We saw that in NYC: integrity cuts through like nothing else. But I'm not sure that it can be beaten by standard approaches. We need ideas and *humanness*. Transparency. Emotion. Messiness, even.

Stream it, buy it if you can, get it to #1 in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, everywhere!
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

The government suppressed a report by UK intelligence services, warning of imminent, irreversible environmental collapse that will severely impact the UK and its security.

For decades, us environmentalists have been derided as nutters.

I echo George's words in this: I told you so.
Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

The UK government didn't want you to see this report on ecosystem collapse. I'm not surprised | George Monbiot
It took an FOI request to bring this national security assessment to light. For ‘doomsayers’ like us, it is the ultimate vindication, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot
