The headwinds for Mossmorran were clear. That's why in 2022 we commissioned a report looking in depth at future options, followed by summits with trade unions. Governments needed to act much earlier.

Now we need to see real investment in the future of the site and the workforce.

Three weeks ago I marked nine years on Testosterone.

I didn't celebrate it then because I was in the middle of a multi-month battle to be allowed to stay on it, despite not producing my own hormones and simply wanting to remain on the exact prescription I'd had for nine years without any problems.

Wandered down the town tonight to see Santa and he said if I was very very good there would soon be a wee gig venue in the high street.
Hope folk will come and play for us and I won't always be jumping on trains to hear music.

What a compassionate soul she is 😠
Govt minister @karinsmythmp.bsky.social nods along as Sophy Ridge tells her about the cuts that hospices are having to make.

It's a scandal that hospices rely on charity for most of their funding & what we need is a publicly funded & fully resourced hospice system within the NHS.

Dalmarnock Primary's been offering family learning for years.

It's sad *some* parents are boycotting a school cause asylum seeker families get that support too via ESOL.

Funny how certain folk never raised PVG concerns for other family learning on offer...

Got the window open to let the cold air in & to hear the noise. At home there's no noise at night so it's kind of nice to hear stuff. Also listening to @robertdallasgray.com latest robertdallasgray.bandcamp.com/album/the-va... which is bloody great & def what I need after 2 nights of singalongs.

This shower of absolute chancers prey on people's justified anger. The only way to counter that is by giving hope that another world is possible, one where everyone can afford to get by.

Up at too early so that I could change plans if I freaked out on the underground but I didn't, I was very calm. I even used the lifts in the hotel without incident (unlike in Edinburgh the other night when I behaved like a big wean.
This train north has too many stops - it's going to be a long day.
