now this dummy is in the oven. I'm traveling today & bringing bread this is not a bread art marathon

an unbaked oblong loaf has been scored with a really amateur looking bat which I now realize looks more bat signal than cute wee flying sonar mammal. the loaf is on a silicon hammock resting on a wooden peel waiting to slide into the hot cast iron Dutch oven which isn't in the picture but that's where the bread bakes

sometimes when I pet my cat, I pretend I am Dr. Claw & I think my cat is into it. Dr. Claw really loved that cat.
