I love Mystery Show. Was such a great podcast for it's short run
To celebrate a full year (!!) of my column, Podcast Canon, over on @avclub.com, I went deep on the legacy of Mystery Show, the six episode wonder that has been captivating audiences for over a decade.

I can't get over how utterly utterly terrible the golden globes list of "best podcasts" is.

Diversity doesn't mean add more awful right wing grifters to a list

How is this shit chosen.. So awful
The list of eligible podcasts is looking pretty bleak 😟

Alice Wong died on Friday. She was 51. Born with muscular dystrophy, she’s spent years of her life dedicated to advocating to hear from more people with disabilities on the radio.

In a 2016 manifesto, she wrote that “radio enforces normalcy.” Read the rest here: transom.org/2016/alice-w...

That's a shame about creative live closing down

They had some great podcast talks/courses on there

They should give all the recordings to @archive.org

i asked john if i could quote this because i want to say to other producers/artists: you might feel embarrassed by how often you bang on about your work, but I promise you, you will always find someone who didn’t see any of your other plugs
Hadn't heard of it. Will definitely have a listen. Thanks.

That's a lot of hyperbole for a vote on reviewing Israeli investments. The fact they don't see the irony of using never again to defend Israel is saddening
