No idea what's going on here but everybody seems to be enjoying themselves, and that's the main thing.
So good news is I seem to be getting back into reading books. Bad news is I've still not learned how to read multiple books at once, which resulted in me lugging this bunch around half the country over the holidays.

the cult of maximum efficiency is one of the worst things to happen to society. I can’t defend studying Latin or reading for pleasure or spending an hour at the park with my niece in a way that will satisfy shareholders. but they’re worth doing because they’re beautiful and good.
