It's not just you. You are not alone. I can't turn it off either. I woke up at three am reanalyzing what has happened and what will come. We will make it through this. Shitty things will happen. We will not accept them. We will refuse to let them permanently change our country. We will be ok.

My nursing career spanned 36 years, more than two decades in ICU, and my heart is wrecked over what happened to Alex Pretti. The only part that makes sense in those videos is the part where he instinctively rushes to help the woman being assaulted by those fools from ICE. ‘Helping’ was in his DNA.
