Finished FFXIV Endwalker tonight... I got me very emotional at moments, and now I'll never be able to listen to Close in the Distance again without crying a ton. I've really loved my time with this game.

You have to be your own biggest fan of your work. You should celebrate it. Sometimes it's so hard to do, but if you can't celebrate your own work, it'll be hard pressed to get anyone else to.

You have to be your own biggest fan of your work. You should celebrate it. Sometimes it's so hard to do, but if you can't celebrate your own work, it'll be hard pressed to get anyone else to.

the really important thing about resisting automatically generated stat sheets that services give you is that numbers mean nothing without ~why~. exercise learning to talk about music & why you like it, not just "because i listened to it a lot" or "it's peak". these are skills you can develop!!
I'd so much rather you just tell me what music hit for you this year than look at what data spotify scraped from account metrics
