I agreed that a friend moving out of town could store boxes at my house for several months until they are established in their new location. But apparently they are also expecting me to figure out transporting boxes to my house... Does anyone in Philly have a vehicle free from the snow?

My previous intern used ChatGPT to get his master degree in computer diploma and it *showed*. It was really bad.

He didn't know how to use Excel. I had him add up 10 numbers, no fraction. He used his phone's calculator for the sum. He got the WRONG sum because he mis-punched several numbers.

Even as she was dying of AIDS, she helped.

Today in #art: a 2 page spread in a scrap art journal. A story of 2 young women who have fallen in love.

Left hand edge piece is from an old book, with an inscription reading: Miss Mattie Gr. Hunkle(?) (I can't read the last bit.) I mounted a b&w vintage photo of an old house with a silo in the background as the centerpiece, with a die-cut b&w image of a young white woman in dress up clothing (probably c. Early 20th century.) She's wearing a fancy hat with flowers, flowers on her lace shirt & fingerless gloves. I added a quote (white on black): "you're all I had hoped to find, in every single way." On the right, background is built up texture using cut off edges from vintage photos + rice paper. There is a tiny, brass paper clip at the top right. The centerpiece is a die cut b&w photo of a young white woman, in more casual dress, sitting & holding a straw hat with flowers. Directly behind her is a scrap that looks like it came from a letter. The quote (white on black) directly above her: "Being with you calms my soul." The 2 die cut images are from Tim Holtz ephemera. The photo edges & vintage photo are actual photo prints.
